Reviews and Ratings
The hotel offers good and clean rooms, although it was incredibly hot during the night. I checked in early, which probably ate into their cleaning time. The room was small but beautiful.
The hotel is in a quiet area where you can walk to town or train, and the rooms were comfortable with a very soft bed. The service was excellent with a friendly and professional staff. While the dining was a little basic due to low occupancy, the fresh fish was a delight. The facilities were solid, offering a thermal water pool for relaxation.
The hotel is situated in a quiet area where you can easily walk to town or the train station. The rooms were spotless and conveniently located right off the restaurant/bar area, offering a mix of salty treats, fresh fruits, and Swiss bircher. The service was exceptionally welcoming and friendly, showing genuine concerns for my wellbeing, including assistance even after my hospital discharge. The location near the river adds to the charm, although the nearby hotel's heavily chlorinated thermal pool could be a downside. Dining was a mix of solid salty options, fresh Swiss bircher, and fruits in the morning, although slightly lacking in vegetables. Overall, a great experience with a few minor hiccups.
The hotel offers the added amenity of free thermal baths, providing a spotless and beautifully small but spacious room. The welcoming staff ensured a very clean room with comfortable bedding.
I was pleasantly surprised by my stay at this hotel. The rooms were modern, very clean, and overlooked the Limmat river, although I noticed they might have rushed through cleaning mine because I checked in early. The service was simply amazing, with the staff being typical Swiss - friendly and helpful, especially the guy with four legs in the picture. The location, while not a tourist spot, was fantastic for walking to town or the train station, and I even had the pleasure of meeting a beautiful labrador named Jango. The dining experience was okay but could have been a little more interesting, with dinner service being a bit slow. The facilities were adequate and overall satisfactory.
